KAI BUENO!
Sirrah Mudd provided the Court with an abundance of sugary treats this
e'en as his Kai requirement for first-level Lancelot.  Huzzah!

DON'T DUCK THE ISSUE!
A faerie by the name of Swan came to Court this e'en to deliver a message to Damsel Duck: her grandmother had died.  Damsel Duck went on to reveal that Swan was her brother and that she, in fact, comes from faerie
ancestry.  This explained her strange partial transformation into a bunny
rabbit the previous Court.  She also explained that her family frowned on
any sort of faerie powers made manifest, accounting for her large number
of siblings that she never knew; they were kicked out once their powers
appeared.  Duck decided that it was high time she confronted the
situation, and begged the court's leave to return home and attend her
grandmother's funeral.

RESPECT MY AUTHORI-TAY!
The Companions did dissemble at great length on the subject of respect,
both the giving of it to them by their visitors and vassals, and the showing of it to guests of the Court.  As if on cue, the Court itself was bombarded by a large number of visitors, mostly observers or messengers.  There were no killings.  This subject will be discussed again when the queen returns from her quest.

TALK ABOUT A DOUBLE NEGATIVE!
Sirrah Valric appeared in Court this week, despite reports that he would
not.  In addition to his unexpected appearance, the Court was suprised to
learn that he had no recollection of having no recollection--that is to say, when asked how his memory problem was, he had no idea what we were
talking about.

ANCIENT WEAPON CAN CUT THROUGH WARWICKIAN STEEL!
Lord Paladin Galchauren returned to Court this week with the mysterious
weapon discovered in the ruins beneath Kel Coriche.  He demonstrated the power and strength of this blade by cutting through a masterwork
Warwickian blade with little effort.  He voiced his concern of an army
equipped with such weapons attacking Warwick, and vowed to do further research on the blade in the hopes of reproducing it.

DEMONIC PROPHESY FORETELLS DOOM!
Sir Marduk brought a prophesy of sorts into Court this week.  This
prophesy, entitled "The Nine Dark Spirits," was copied from some ruins he found while investigating Evil Galchauren, and seemed to fortell nine
demons that would rise up and take over Heaven.  The most disturbing part of the prophesy was that Eld Magnil, the Pendragon, and the Companions of Light were mentioned specifically in its text, even though the ruins from which Marduk copied the prophesy predated the existence of Warwick.  Could there be a connection between these ruins and the caern found beneath Kel Coriche?  Could a demon army whose roots lie in the ancient past of the land we now call Warwick be coming home?

GREENWOOD SOLDIERS FOUND SLAIN ON WARWICKIAN SOIL!
Since being granted asylum by Queen Flidais, the Adder family and its
followers have been harrassed by bounty hunters seeking the price put on
their heads by the island kingdom of Greenwood.  This week, Paladin Aeric reported finding two headless bodies wearing the colors of Greenwood on the border of Windsor and Lankhmar.  He also reported a brief sea skirmish between Greenwood ships and other, privately-owned vessels just off the shore of Lankhmar.

BAKERY DISAPPEARS INTO THIN AIR!
Lord Paladin Galchauren told a story of how a two story bakery in
Ahrothen all but disappeared overnight while the owners slept within.  He
claimed that the entire second story and most of the first story were gone, but the stone foundation, the chimney, the wooden floor, and all of the furniture in the building remained.  Paladin Aeric said he would look into the matter.
