THE MAN IN BLACK RETURNS
Sir Aeric returned from a long absence this e'en, as did Dona Karissa and Knight Ambra.  The three were in Ambra's desert homeland to the northwest, where they sought the Evil Swords wielded on the battlefield by the demon masquerading as Galchauren some months ago.  It is unknown how their quest went, or even if they were successful or not...there were more important topics in Court this week.

WAR!!!
A severely-wounded young man came staggering into Court last week, a man wearing the red-and-gold tunic of Sir Lucerne's destroyed homeland of Ynessia.  The man called himself Avin, and claimed that he and Lucerne once served in the same unit many years ago.  He went on to inform His Majesty that a great Horde of orks was approaching the eastern borders of Warwick, the same Horde which had destroyed Ynessia.  Apparently this Horde is led by a human named General Draal, a name which Sir Marduk seemed to recognize....  No sooner did Avin report this news when a soldier from Ahrothen arrived, to report that the eastern garrisons of Ahrothen had been overrun by orks.  Avin was taken to the hospital and preparations were made to meet the enemy.

This week, His Majesty reported that the enemy was met on the fields of Ahrothen, and despite vast numerical advantages, was pushed back.  The enemy now sits on the border, watching, waiting.  Waiting for what?  Who can tell....

THOSE ZANY ZANDOFARS!
A special delivery was made to Court by Agnes from the House of Stuff to the Zandos: water-squirting devices, which the clansmen wasted no time in inflicting upon the rest of the Court.  It was a much-needed diversion from the grim seriousness of current events.

DON'T KILL THE MESSENGER
A mysterious figure, clad all in black armor, arrived at Court to deliver several cryptic messages to some of the Companions.  This messenger would not speak, and it was later revealed that he COULD not speak; Knight Ambra managed to get him to write out the answers to some of the Court's questions, and it was learned that the retrieval of Sir Aeric's Caerna Dagger from the lair of Shadowcast was essential to the victory of Warwick over the Horde.

THE DUKE'S SKIN PROBLEM
Although he was not in attendence this week, it was spoken of that Duke Mollari is experiencing some problems with his recently-restored fishy form.  Apparently last week he came into Court with a hideous half-man, half-Aquitanian visage, most likely a side-effect of the lycanthrope blood used by Magus Fangorn to transform the Duke in the first place.

Until next week, True Believers....Keep Watching the Skies!
