(*Things heard amongst the kitchen staff, couriers, privvy boys, guardsmen and sewing circles of Warwick*)

Last Court...

.. Dona Karissa and the Baron Ptolemei were both knighted into the Noble Order of Prince Kay.  Here's to good eatin' -- and less work for the kitchen staffs!

.. Inana Shevane became a Zandofar in a blaze of water guns and purple towels.  She didn't seem o mind one bit.

.. Karissa announced for Druin of the Mandala in Sacred Ceridwen, the newest druinhood for poetry.

.. Master Conan and Sir Marduk were sworn to each other as Older and Younger Sibling before the King.  We wish them well...

.. A wounded guardsman accompanied Scarlette into the court as a 'bodyguard', due to an attack against her home in Elven.  Asked by the King to report news from the front, his words were dire indeed.  In 2 to 3 nights, said the man, the new and diabolical 'high' orcs will advance into the heart of Ahrothen.  Many more orcs than the first main battle have been sighted and have made a slow press forward into Warwick itself.  Within one week (and this was spoken at last week's court!), Chateau Bannier will be under siege.
Many peasants have begun to simply bury their dead brothers, sisters, hubands and sons and pak up their belongings, treking further south lest they be laid waste to like others before them.  Other ponder what possible beasties will, having been chased from their homes in Ahrothen, will run rampant in the wilds of Wilderland and even further south...

.. Mollari is now tenured with a university from his homeland of Aquatania. His previous martial position has been set aside for the lofty thoughts of philosophy.  Currently, he is settling into his new position with with awkward ease and seeks new and exciting things with many large words that the guards closer to court were not able to pronounce.

.. Fangorn was spotted in Elven, snatching a stone from the Majestrix Scarlette's home.  She and Sir Bisquick did chase him and reported in court that he was working for that evil man, Sarabrande. Confused, they chased him to the rubble of the cursed monestary where the rock that struck Fangorn in the first place was from.  The Majestrix and Sir Bisquick wre both confused as to the former Magius’ appearance and why he was working for Sarabrande.  Though Scarlette's personal feelings towards the 'late' Magius were decidedly dark, she did note his confusion was influenced by Sarabrande, having turned the 'Crimson Avenger' from the Court of Light to something far, far worse...

.. but this is only heresay.
