THE KID IS NOT MY SON--OR--MY TWO MOMS
In a shocking revelation last night, the Widow Dragonsbane revealed
to the Court of Light that her child, Runa Dragonsbane, is NOT the fruit
of her enchanted evening spent with Sir Aeric, but in fact is the progeny
of herself and the late Queen Merenia Shae Caerna, her wife. This
was discovered recently when the Widow visited her daughter, who remains
in the custody of the Waywood Circle, for fear that the evil dragon Shadowcast
might get his talons on her. During the visit, one of the Waywood
sorceresses showed the Widow a mark upon the baby's body identical to one
worn by Queen Merenia for much of her life. So apparently the fertility
potions the pair were using DID work, and Sir Aeric (who could not be reached
for comment) is off the hook.
DREAM WARRIORS
Several Companions in Court discussed a dream they shared recently,
one which involved a mysterious voice, a hallway lined with doors, the
Pool of Daggers, and...Twinkies? What would Freud say? The
meaning of this dream is best left to the experts at the Mages' Tower.
QUEST FOR THE LIGHT
We have a NEW court candle thanks to Dona Karissa. It seems that
the mysterious voice in our dreams gave it to the Druin of the Grail as
part of her ongoing quest for the light. (As of yet, no other words
have been heard from the voice.)
GOT PURPLE LOVE?? TAKE SOME PENICILIN
The Zandofar clan was full of purple love last evening. After
a brief speech and to the shock of all present, Sir Jeandeaux joyfully
returned to the clan, shedding his yellow mask for good, we hope.
Shortly thereafter, Sirah Lorath also joined the ranks of the clan.
Wow, that makes how many actives now? 6? 7?
BATTLE ON, COMPANIONS
A very terse King Mus announced this evening that the Companions were
not pulling their weight in the war against the invading Ork Horde.
He declared that all land owners must contribute at least fifty percent
of their forces to the war effort.
THE MYSTERIOUS MESSENGER RETURNS
The silent, black-clad Messenger returned to Court again this evening,
bearing a message for Her Eminence Ambernathia and King Mus. The
two recipients chose not to reveal the contents of their missives.
