A MAN'S HOME IS HIS CASTLE...
Baron Ptolomei opened Court this Thursday e'en with a tale of his recent
(mis)adventure in Knight Flag Land. According to the Baron, he was
unable to acheive his goal of meeting with Trell Zandofar, who apparently
is now back in human form or at least able to speak, but he did receive
many signs and portents from the Serpentine Priestess, who pointed him
in the direction (literally and mentally) of his new abode. This
castle, once all the deeds are signed, will be dubbed the Serpentine Palace...or
was it Serpentine Castle? I can't remember, I had a headache from
all the pounding on the tables....
..BUT IT'S ALSO A TASTY SNACK
Dona Karissa, who will apparently continue boarding with her Older
Sibling in the new castle, gifted the Court with a culinary representation
of her new home. It was a cake shaped like a castle, and reports
say it was very yummy.
COSMIC CHAMP OR SELF-IMPORTANT CHUMP?
The Court was visited this e'en by a being who called himself Proximus
Votius, who claimed that he was the Cosmic Champion, and that he was in
Warwick to deliver some messages. Why would a Cosmic Champion be
playing postman, you ask? Who knows...maybe he needed the money....
In any case, he delivered several messages, including Paladin Galchauren's
proxy votes (coincidence?) for the election and a long if poorly-written
love letter from Panthra's brother-in-law Jamal to Healer Moira, who was
apparently his date for Panthra's wedding earlier this week.
WEDDING? WHAT WEDDING??
I'm glad you asked. The rest of Court was suitably suprised at
the news of Panthra's wedding; Panthra claims she sent out invitations
to everyone, but no one received them. Mr. Votius explained that
she used his less-reliable brother, Absetius Ballotus, to deliver the invites,
which is why they were never received. Panthra explained that she
re-married her old husband Jeremy, after he was rid of all his other wives
(it's a harem thing). She also apparently made him deal with the
idea that she was a Companion in Warwick and couldn't be around much to
do wifely things.
Um...congratulations....
WE HAVE REGENTS, SEE?
As is typical around this time of year, the Companions did gather in
Court this e'en and vote upon who will be calling the shots next season.
That would be the Grand Knight, but the other regency positions were also
voted upon as well.

PREMIER--Duke Marduk (God, I'm gonna love saying that!)

The Herald and High Druin positions were not filled tonight, and so
far it appears that Sir Lucerne will remain the Sherrif and Paladin Galchauren
will remain Bruiser and Talisen.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDS
The newly-elected queen wasted no time in announcing her intention
to hold a tournament to determine who will be her Champion. Hopefuls
are asked to contact her for more information on the tourney as well as
for details concerning the position itself.
