F-F-F-FEASTE
This week, in lieu of the usual venue, the Companions took the show on
the road and held Court in Ohmahlourd F-f-f-frit'z restaurant.  The
occassion was a feast held in honor of the new regents.  The food was
abundant and delicious, and the entertainment (which mainly consisted of
a trio of servants who were in dire need of dancing lessons)
was...well...entertaining.  Kudos to Ohmahlourd F-f-f-fritz for putting
on such a sumptuous feast.

CORONATION CAMP
Early in the e'en, the Companions egressed to the front steps of the restaurant to swear fealty to the new sovereign and to officially recognize his fellow regents.  As befitted the nature of the king, coronation was simple and informal, even lighthearted, but no less meaningful than the most pantaegous of ceremonies.  Congratulations to the new regents.

THERE'S ALWAYS THAT *ONE* GUY....
The feast went off without a hitch, lacking the usual parade of supplicants, villains, and just plain freaks that grace the Court of Light with their presence.  There was but one visitor to the feaste, and it came in the form of a demon who sought sanctuary from "him."  "Him" was identified variously as BOAKYAG, the Dark Cloud, and Evil Galchauren.  The demon was so fearful that he willingly gave the High Druin his True Name (thereby giving her total power over him) in exchange for protection.  Marquessa Catalyn then escorted the demon to the Mages' Tower where he was safely contained, at the same time confirming that the prison orb containing the Demon Galchauren was still intact and it's resident still there.

SECONDS, ANYONE?
Both Duke Aeric and King Mordecaii made a call for those who would be
their seconds.  The duke asked that applicants for the position of Sheriff please contact him outside of Court, and His Majesty announced that there would be a tournament in the near future for the honor of being his Champion.

FOXY LADY
On the suggestion of Sirrah Antwon d'Pollo, the king also announced that
there would be a Fox Hunt held in honor of the new regency's ascension.
The game is to be held this upcoming Saturday at the candlemark of nine,
and all participants are to meet on the Field of the Egg (Caer Emyn Oona).
