May 15th, O.P. XXIII
STUDY HALL
Attendance was low this e'en due to the demands of many Companions'
studies.  Even the king was late in arriving, and left after only a few minutes in Court.  Nevertheless, some things did happen.

HOW YOU DOIN'?
Two messengers by the names of Laquisha and Shanequa came into Court to deliver the Forsaken Pages page class banner.  They fawned briefly over
Duke Aeric, and then took their leave.

THE SHERIFF IS NEAR!
Duke Aeric announced his appointment of Sir Lorath Hawksmoor Zandofar as the new sheriff.  Sir Lorath followed this announcement by asking that
any Companions interested in being deputy should talk to him outside of
Court (Sir Marduk having stepped down as deputy).

NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER
The lady Bridgit Du Lac came to Court with a missive for the Companions.
She was told it had to do with her missing daughter, Adameyr, whom
several Companions have been seeking for some time now.  Duke Aeric read
the letter to the Court, which was, in addition to a rambling diatribe about the quality of former sovereigns, a ransom note.  The kidnapper, who signed his name as Nick the Naughty, demanded that the king be traded in exchange for the missing girl.

Immediately, the duke, the grand knight, and sheriff began making plans
to foil the kidnapper and retrieve Adameyr.  However, the king decided to
show up at that point and, after hearing the contents of the letter, immediately set out with the high druin to solve the problem himself.

A WALK TO REMEMBER
General Deans returned to Court after his lengthy tour of the lands to
announce that he would be leaving the lands.  Whoop-de-doo.

COME SAIL AWAY WITH MEEEEE.....
As a tribute to those Companions going on holiday over the summer, Sir
Lorath sang one of his famous acapella songs, this one entitled "Boston
and Saint John's."
