| This was the first week of Summer Court, which by necessity
is being
held
in the Daruth Emyn Caerna courtroom. There was a large amount
of people in attendence, a contrast to the usual summer situation where
many
Companions take the season off to go questing about the lands.
Duke Aeric and Sir Lorath (the Sherrif) reported to His
Majesty and
the Court the status of the renegade mages' tower newly established to
the south of Warwick. The king seemed satisfied that they meant
the
Eleven Lands no ill will--for now, at least--and deemed that they
should be
left
There were two guests to the Court this e'en. The first was a very confused Gylemantis who eventually figured out that he was looking for his sick people, who are currently being taken care of by the various hospitals in the lands under Lady Moira's supervision. It could be surmised that with the destruction of his native Blue Dimension, Gylemantis is beginning to lose his memories or perhaps his mind entirely. The second visitor to the Court was the Timeanoid Meerd, who was very sad for some reason. His melencholy mood did nothing to bring down the Companions, however, and any explanation for his misery was lost in the din of celebration. There was also food and drink provided to the Court by Duke Aeric and Dame Duck. |
