VISITOR The Court had an unexpected visit by long-time Companion, Magus Fangorn Flynneral. Also known as the Crimson Avenger, Magus Fangorn had come to the Court to pay his respects, as well as to witness the trial of Magus Kao, who had been arrested on two counts of assassinating a fellow Companion the week before.
TRIAL Most of the Court's time this week was taken up by the trial of Magus Kao for the assassination of Damsel Zerlina and Sirrah Dartholomew. Both sides presented their cases, and in the end, it was discovered that there was an assassin in the lands who bore a striking resemblence to Kao. The body of this assassin, as well as the body of Sirrah Kuttiterror (whom he had presumably slain), was discovered outside the abode of Damsel Zerlina the weekend after Kao was arrested. Since Kao was in the dungeon and under heavy guard all weekend (and did not die at all during this time, unlike the assassin), Sirrah Dartholomew decided to drop the charges.
VOX ISLANDS Sir Mudd, the Grand Knight of the Charter, and Duke Alanna, the Premier, returned to Court after an expedition to the Vox Islands. Exactly how the pair was able to reach the islands was unclear, as all previous attempts by Warwickians to do so have failed. The pair reported that the dark cloud known as Nemesis and it's legions of leather-clad demon warriors was in place on the islands. Leading these legions was a large black demon-golem that was apparently Lacon Vox, a golem who has been giving the Court of Warwick trouble for some time now. This description matches with a similar tale told by Sir Aeric last season, when he travelled to the Forest of Rowe in the north to discover that Lacon was bargaining with Nemesis and considering merging itself with the demon-golem. Apparently the deal was struck. What this means for the Eleven Lands is yet unknown.
URIEL ORDAINING Following the events of Court, the Companions egressed to the melee field where Magus Kao was ordained as a Druin of the Mandala in the Sacred Order of Uriel.
