THE MONKEY--ER, FISH--TRIAL
It was announced in Court this e'en that Magius Fangorn is being extradited by the Aquitanian government for the "murder" of Duke Mollari.  Apparently they do not recognize Mollari's current, human, form as the real McCoy.  Subsequently, the duke has lost all his titles and holdings within that country as well.  The Aquitanian ambassador is currently staying in Warwick awaiting Fangorn's return with him in two weeks' time.  Needless to say, there was an outcry of support for the good Magius, including Sir Aeric, who was until recently poised to kill him for a slight to his honor.  Duke Mollari, being a lawyer, will be defending Fangorn in his upcoming hearing.

PALPATINE IS DEAD!
Well, not really...but it got your attention, didn't it?  From what could be gathered from his cousin F-f-f-fritz, who was in attendance this week, Palpatine confronted the Grim Reaper himself, and traded his immortality as a Companion for the life of his beloved Cecily, who apparently died while saving some children from a burning building.  According to F-f-f-fritz, not only is Palpatine as mortal as any non-Companion, his life-force in inextricably tied to that of his wife; if she dies, he dies.  The good news is that the happy couple FINALLY got to meet in person.  A bitersweet moment, indeed.

DRAGONRIDERS SUCK...FACE
Another guest to the Court of Light this e'en was a Dragonrider from Ahrothen, who was charged by Countess Shae to escort her wife Katalyn to the Courtroom in her absence.  Not exactly all there, the dragonrider proceeded to rant and rave, at one point going so far as to kiss an astonished Sir Aeric on the lips!  After the rider's departure, Dona Karrisa explained that the dragonriders of Ahrothen have a long-standing rivalry with the Dragonriders of Pern (tm), and that this particular individual was, shall we say, less than stable mentally.

LITTLE THINGS MEAN SO MUCH
Sir Aeric finally washed that gray right outta his hair, and cut it as well, but no one seemed to notice or care.  Sigh.

Well, that's it for this week, True Believers.  See you at Rush!
