WE HAVE PAGE SIGN!
Two new Pages were introduced to the Court tonight: Riley and Alice.  They were put through the ringer (as were we all) and handled themselves quite well.  They really warmed up to the Companions quickly.  Huzzah for the new Pages!

"QUEEN" MERENA?
This day of joy was unfortunately marred by loss.  Countess Shae Caerna announced in Court tonight that her mother, the queen of her homeland, had passed away and that she would be departing our Eleven Lands shortly to take the throne there, as it is a matriarchy and she is the oldest living daughter.  Furthermore, as the former queen was murdered by an enemy of the state, Countess Shae will also be acting in a military capacity while at war with that enemy.  Lady Lauralansa was unavailable for comment, and it is unknown whether or not she will accompany her wife into such dangerous territory or remain in the (relative) safety of Warwick to bring her child to term.  The Court loses a valuable and beloved Companion in the Countess.  We wish her all the best in her new life, and hope that the war campaign will be a quick and victorious one.

FANGORN FACES SOME SOUTHERN (AQUITANIAN) JUSTICE
The latest development in an ongoing drama, Magius Fangorn Flynneral was noticeably absent from Court this evening, having apparently decided to face his accusers in Aquitania alone.  A week ago, the Aquitanian ambassador had presented the Magius with a formal charge of "causing the non-existence of an Aquitanian" in regards to the transformation of Duke Mollari into a human being.  Qubayar Moira and Magestrix announced that Fangorn had been acting awfully peculuar recently...apparently he was trying to recreate the accident which caused the merging of the Crimson Avenger and himself, even going so far as to import pieces of the evilly-enchanted wall which fell on him in the first place.*  The two druins suggest that a plea of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity should be entered in Magius Fangorn's defense.

I SHOT THE SHERRIF...
Sir Lucerne McQuillon announced the appointment of a new Deputy to serve as his right-hand man: Sir Aeric Bannier Caerna.  Sir Aeric was understandably suprised, seeing how he had only recently cleared his name of a murder charge, but he humbly accepted the position.  Congratulations, Aeric!

Until next week, True Believers...keep watching the skies!
