FORTUNE'S FOLLY FOOD AND FESTIVITIES
This week was the date of the Fortune's Folly Pages' Feaste, held in
lieu
of "regular" Court. The pages provided the Companions with a
variety of
different, non-pizza food and drink, and entertained the Court with
a
lively rendition of the Bisquewik song. The page class banner
was also
unfurled, to the delight of those in attendence. Huzzah to the
pages!
On a similar note, Ohmuhlourd F-f-f-fritz announced that, since he never
actually went through Page Turning himself, he would host his own feaste
sometime between this page turning and next season's page turning.
And
no, it will not be all cookies, either.
MAD MEN AND MISERABLE MATRONS MAIL MASSIVELY
Lord Dragonsbane delivered a list to Her Majesty of an enormous amount
of letters held by the postmaster, addressed to the various landowners
with regards to the missing peasants stolen by Gylemantis' golems.
The
postmaster was even kind enough to read each and every letter himself
so
as to categorize them as "angry," "pleading," etc.
COMPANIONS CACHE CASH AND COIN
The Queen paid all Companions for a job well done this past year.
Even
the pages got paid--after their feaste was finished, of course.
GYLEMANTIS GRIPES, GIVES GOODIES TO GREEDY GUYS AND GIRLS
Gylemantis made an appearance in Court this e'en, to complain that
a
vampire and two other individuals tried to infiltrate his realm disguised
as golems. He also announced that he is willing to give Companions
a
place in his new aristocracy, the one that he will create once the
Court
of Light is overthrown. To make the acceptance of his offer official,
all one had to do was accept one of his newly-minted coins. Of
those in
Court, Mitra (a visitor) and Marquessa Catalyn accepted the coins.
No
word yet on whether or not Catalyn will be charged with treason for
doing so.
In a related story, the spell that Marquessa Catalyn and the wizard
Viveck set up to read Gylemantis' nature revealed that he was somehow not
actually there, despite his physical interaction with a number of people.
The explanation for this is hopefully forthcoming.
KEL CORICE QUESTION CONFRONTED, CURIOSITY QUELLED
It was announced that there would be a meeting at the Mages' Tower
on
Sunday to finalize the report into the destruction of Kel Corice.
The
report was initially requested by Lord Dragonsbane during his tenure
as
Sherrif of the Lands, and a copy was given to several other individuals
who requested it. It was revealed in Court that the true cause
of Kel
Corice's destruction was a group of mages miscasting a spell within
it's
walls, and the destruction was what woke up the demon sleeping beneath
it, and not the other way around.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK(END)
Mistress Duck (shouting most masculinely): "YOU WILL NOT TOUCH THE
